NIGHT'S GIFT

This is an interview that was done with "Steve Goodall" at the Station Coffee House & Gallery, just before the launch of "Night's Gift." I walked into the Coffee House and noticed a man reading my book. "Is that a good book," I innocently asked ... Steve's reply ... I started "Night's Gift" on Friday and could not put it down. Its fantastic, I really like it. I enjoy vampire stories and this one's good! I was drawn to the book when Linda (the owner of the Coffee House) pointed it out - and, by the picture on the cover, as well. I live in the neighborhood of the house that is on the cover. I'd recommend "Night's Gift" to my friends; I have a few who would read it!

Although I didn't like how Virginia submits to her fate so easily in the beginning, she comes back fighting strong as she learns the engaging tale of the vampire's story. I did enjoy most of all the author's wonderful history lesson on how the vampires came to be and the resulting affects through history that are recognizable to the reader. (Enjoyed how I could recognize the places mentioned here in Brantford - that was cool) I really enjoyed the ending!! But, I won't go on and ruin it for anyone! Janna Maranda

At first I hesitated to buy the book, but once I started reading it, it was fantastic!!!! I loved the whole survival game of it! I pretty much LOVED the book. There is not one bad thing about it! "Night's Gift" is an exceptional read. An avid reader who has read "Twilight" and the original "Dracula," I really loved the alternative twist you have given an age-old story about vampires.
